Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. To process financing requests and to protect against fraudulent transactions applicants must provide personal information not limited to their names, age, e-mail and street addresses, telephone numbers, social insurance number, income, personal references, personal financial records and employment records. All of this information is stored in a confidential manner. The information collected is strictly used for the purposes of attaining helping to facilitate the purchase of a home and/or obtain mortgage financing and is never disclosed to third parties not involved with the funding or review of the application for the purposes of funding mortgage financing.

• We do not and will not sell, rent or barter mailing lists of our customers.
• For the sole purpose of processing your request, we may share your information you provide with one or more of our lending institutions. All lenders operate under federal and provincial laws regarding customer privacy.
• This privacy policy covers our treatment of personal information that we collect verbally or written.

We pledge to hold all information you provide to us in absolute privacy. We limit the amount and type of information gathered to what is necessary for the identified purpose. No more information is gathered then is required to request or complete the financing transaction. Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention We will retain the personal information only for the time it is required for the outlined purposes and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of any potential legal or government obligations. Information that does not have a specific purpose or that no longer fulfills its intended purpose will be disposed e.g. paper files will be shredded and electronic records will be deleted.
